In recent years, the environmental issue has become increasingly urgent and topical, requiring concrete and globally shared action. About this, Icaro Ecology has distinguished itself for its commitment to research and development of technologies useful for #environmental rehabilitation. However, the company has not limited itself to this, but has also chosen to support training and discussion initiatives, such as “The States General for the regeneration of the territories”.
The tour of the States General, organized by Environmental Forensic Chamber, touched many Italian cities, from Vigevano to Gela, to arrive in Genoa in 2023 with the theme: how to regenerate places by bringing together institutions, individuals and local communities. Icaro Ecology has always actively participated in these initiatives together with its partners, including Eni Rewind and Haemers Technologies Group, and to the main national institutional players.
But why is it important to support this type of initiative in the territories? Answers to this question Gianfranco Caccamo general manager of Icaro Ecology.

R: “Supporting these initiatives means sharing the importance of a participatory and shared approach for the management and enhancement of the area. Furthermore, the event represents a unique opportunity to meet other players in the sector and to explore issues related to the regeneration of territories.”
D: What are the main challenges that Icaro Ecology faces in the field of environmental regeneration?
R: “One of the main challenges we face is to raise awareness among public opinion and institutions on the need to invest in environmental protection and regeneration of territories. Furthermore, the research and development of innovative and sustainable #technologies represent a fundamental aspect of our #work, as well as the promotion of responsible and virtuous management practices and models.”
D: What are the future goals of Icaro Ecology in the field of environmental regeneration?
R: “Our main goal is to actively contribute to the creation of a #future #sustainable and respectful of’#environment. To this end, we will continue to invest in #research and in #development of innovative and sustainable technologies, as well as in the promotion of responsible and virtuous management practices and models.
